Financial Aid

No matter where you plan to go to college, whether a community college, state university,  private college or vocational school, you will need financial aid to make it happen. There are different forms of financial aid: grants, loans, work study and scholarships. The big difference between the different types is whether you get the money without needing to repay it (grants and scholarships), you borrow the money and need to repay it after you finish school (loans), or you earn the money by working at the college (wormoneyk study). What you can get depends on financial need, academic performance, area of study and personal ambition.

The major provider of financial aid is the Federal Government through student loan programs. To get a general idea about basic financial aid, watch this video on Federal Aid.
